Long term agreements on energy efficiency (MJA/MEE)

Does your company participate in one of the long term agreements on energy efficiency (MJA or MEE)?

The following items are included in the long term agreements:

  • Energy management (ISO 50001)
  • Process efficiency
  • Chain efficiency
  • Renewable energy
  • Energy efficiency plan (EEP)
  • Monitoring
  • Multi-annual energy-efficiency plan (MJP)
  • Road maps

In all the areas mentioned Epro Consult can provide knowledge and experience, so together with your staff we can elaborate on all these issues. Not only do we execute studies, we also take care of the project design and project management.

Companies participating in the long term agreements have committed themselves to realise energy efficiency measures in order to improve their energy efficiency. One of these measures is setting up and maintaining an energy management system that suits your company.

Apart from the implementation of an energy management system each company has to provide monitoring data on a yearly basis and has to provide and update an energy efficiency plan (EEP) every four years.

The main target of the long term agreements is the improvement of your energy efficiency.

Epro Consult provides support in all areas of the long term agreements and we can also help you to provide an annual report on your CO2- en NOx-emissions within the European emissions trading system (ETS).

As of 2015 larger companies might have to carry out EED-audits. Epro Consult provides consultancy on EED-audits.
